Fleming School of Music

What to Expect:

Arrive between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Monday.  If you are arriving later than this time frame, please be sure and notate that on your paper work when you sign up, or give us a call.

There will be an orientation meeting at 4:00 p.m. and a little fun!  We will eat dinner together, then begin our first sesion following dinner that evening.

Each day will be filled with sessions before and after lunch, with plenty of breaks (and down time) as well as other activities available to you.  A detailed daily schedule will be posted in the near future, so check back soon.

We will also have a devotional time in the evening that will inspire each of us in our service to God.

More information:
How should I dress?
Specifically, the clothes should be modest and should not have any risque or unchristian writing, captions, or pictures. Shorts may be worn during recreation times, but they must be knee length. Please do not wear shorts to classes as we want to show a certain level of respect to what we are doing.  The rooms are also air-conditioned!

What will I do each day?
Our first session of the day will be warm-up excersises and voice instruction.  We will then begin our regimen of the courses of study.  The morning sessions end with a full group rehearsal of songs of praise and encouragement.  These songs will challenge you to a higher level of skill, but will be an enjoyable time together!

There will be times available in the afternoons for swimming and relaxation.  While the women swim, Leland will work with the men.  While the men swim, Leland will work with the women.

Follwoing dinner, Another session will be had and will end with more singing.  We will break and then assemble for devotional time together.

Two hours of free time precedes dinner. You will be able to participate in volleyball, putt-putt golf, tennis, and more.

Where will I stay?
You will stay in a dorm house that has two wings off of a common area.  One wing will be for the women and girls, the other wing is for the men and boys, of course.  The common area is where you can meet and enjoy times of games, relaxation and snacks!  No girls are permitted in the boys wing, and vice versa.

What will I eat? Meals are currently being planned.  We will post this schedule and information as soon as it is complete!
