I stay busy doing the things I love most: working with the church, teaching music, directing choirs, writing and publishing music, books, and CDs. I also enjoy working around our place. I have been blessed far beyond what I deserve!

Fleming Publishing
Fleming Publishing is a Christian Publishing company specializing in the publication of songbooks, Christian novels, Christian historical books, children's books and Bible study booklets and tracts. Leland has complied two songbooks, the latest being, A Heartbeat From Heaven, a 284-song hymnal. He has also written Music Unplugged!, a music theory book where he unplugs the complicated concepts of music and breaks it down where everyone can understand it. Fleming Publishing also produces the audio recordings of Leland Fleming.
Heaven Sent Choirs
Leland has begun his eleventh year with Heaven Sent Choirs where his students have won various awards in competition. His choral program has over 100 students enrolled.
The program provides a positive environment in which to learn; and offers a well-rounded approach to the choral program. Using a biblically motivated purpose for music instruction, he delights in leading choirs, congregations, and singing ensembles. He teaches sight-reading, vocal technique and music essentials in an easy to understand manner.

I am nothing in and of myself. If it were not for the incredible love of my Savior, I would be fully and completely lost. First of all, I am saved by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who took my sins upon Himself and paid my sin-debt. I am so thankful for His mercy, for without it, I would have no hope. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Kathie, for over 30 years. We have nine children (of which the five oldest are married). The youngest four are still at home and are ages 14 to 2. Kathie and I affectionately call them our "second family." We have been home educating our children for 24 years now. We also have seven beautiful grandchildren.
